That V-groove in the jaws holds pipes perfectly steady, which saved me from ruining a few metal rods. The quick-release button makes swapping workpieces feel effortless compared to my old vise.

I mounted it on my drill press and the quick-release button makes swapping workpieces incredibly fast. The steel V-groove held a pipe firmly without slipping during drilling.

The V-groove in the jaws grabbed a piece of 3/4" pipe dead center, so it didn’t roll or slip even under heavy pressure. I mounted it on my drill press in under a minute, and the handle turns smoothly enough that I don’t need a wrench to snug it down.
