Old Modern Handicrafts, modello di cannone Louis VIV, modello preassemblato

The metal finish on the cannon barrel looks properly aged, and the carriage wheels actually turn smoothly. It sits perfectly on my desk as a conversation piece about Revolutionary War history.

The intricate metalwork on the barrel and carriage really captures the 18th-century craftsmanship, and the pre-built assembly means it’s museum-ready right out of the box. I’ve had it on my desk for a week and the detail still impresses me every time I look at it.

The wheel assembly locks into place with a satisfying click, and the cannon sits solidly on my shelf without any wobble. I found myself inspecting the barrel detail up close—it’s genuinely impressive for a pre-built piece. My only minor gripe is the powdering on the wood, but that’s me being picky.
