I was pleasantly surprised how cleanly the 1/4 inch bit cut through some aluminum stock on my first try. The whole set covers the sizes I reach for most, from 1/8 up to 5/8 inch.

The 5/8 inch bit was exactly what I needed for a deep slotting job, and the HSS steel handled the hardwood without any chatter. These fit perfectly into my existing collet set, so no issues with shanking down. Solid value for getting eight common sizes in one kit.

I was worried these wouldn't fit my collet set, but the 1/8-inch bit slid in perfectly and cut cleanly on my first test. The 2-flute design handled aluminum without chattering, and having all eight common sizes in one kit saved me a trip to the hardware store.
