The 6mm thickness is perfect for my prop builds; it’s strong enough to hold shape but easy to cut with a utility knife. I’ve used it for a few weapon handles now and it sands down nicely for a smooth finish.

The tear-resistance on these sheets is no joke—I've cut, heated, and glued them into armor pieces without a single rip at the seams. The 6mm black foam holds its shape well for weathering too, so my props look battle-worn after just a few layers of paint.

Used these to build a prop sword for a comic con and the 6mm thickness held its shape perfectly under multiple coats of paint. The sheets are stiff enough for armor pieces but still easy to heat-form around curves. My only issue is they arrived with a slight bend from shipping, but that flattened ou
