I’ve been using these flat head screws for a small clock repair, and the brass finish matches the vintage look perfectly. The 1-72 x 1/4" size fits snugly in the threaded holes without any wobble.

Finally, some tiny brass screws that are actually the right size for my model train repairs. The flat heads sit flush and the threading cut smoothly into the plastic.

Managed to strip exactly one of these while tightening with a hex driver, which says more about my angle than the brass. The threads on the rest of the 25 seated cleanly into the tiny holes on my model ship, and the flat heads sit flush like they were molded there.
