The clamp mechanism is really solid, no slipping even when I'm drawing larger circles. Being able to swap the point for a pencil makes it super versatile for marking exact diameters on my woodworking projects.

Finally, a tool that actually holds tight on the beam without slipping—I used it to mark exact radii for a woodworking jig. The removable point to swap in a pencil is a clever touch that saves swapping tools mid-project.

Isabella J. ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

Was tired of jury-rigging a compass for larger woodworking projects, but these clamp right onto the beam and hold steady. The point removal trick works perfectly for swapping in a pencil for marking.
