The powders stuck right away with almost no effort, which saved me a ton of time on my boxcar. Mixed a bit with water for a grimy wash and it worked just as well. Glad I grabbed the full set of 12.

For the price you get a ton of color variety, and the self-adhering powders make dry-brushing a lot less messy than I expected. I mixed one with water to create a wash for an HO scale engine and the look is fantastic.

The powder clings to the plastic really well without any fixer, which makes dry-brushing dirt onto my boxcars way less fiddly than I expected. Took off one star because a couple of the shades come out a bit chalkier than I'd like unless I seal them right away.
