Perfect for my Warhammer minis - the matte finish is exactly what I wanted, no shine at all. Coverage is smooth and even, though I had to do two coats for full opacity on yellow.

I was skeptical about the matte finish claim, but these paints dry down to a truly flat, non-reflective surface that makes my model tanks look far less toy-like. The liquid formula thins beautifully with a drop of water and still holds its pigment through multiple layers.

The coverage is so smooth and even that I got a perfect matte finish on my first tiny model piece. It’s a bit thinner than craft paint, but that makes it ideal for fine details without any brush strokes.
