Micro-Mark Retarder, 20 ml

I was skeptical about paint retarders, but this 20 ml bottle let me work wet-on-wet blends for nearly 15 minutes without any skinning. That extra time saved my gradient project.

Blending skin tones used to be a race against the clock, but a few drops of this in my acrylics kept everything workable for ages. Twenty ml will last me a while too, since you barely need any. Just wish I'd bought it sooner.
