I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly these miniature bits cut through a thin metal sheet I was drilling for a model project. The high-speed steel holds an edge well after several uses. A solid set for the price if you need these tiny sizes.

These little bits are sharp enough that the high-speed steel handles metal without me having to push hard, which is exactly what I needed for some small brass work. The set of six covers a good range, so I’ve been grabbing the same one for wood too and it hasn’t dulled yet.

The first one I used sliced through a pine board like it was butter, and the set held its edge through a dozen holes in some thin steel sheet. Those high-speed steel bits are no joke for the price.
