The double-sided pads are a smart touch—I used both sides before switching grits, and they lasted through several model kits. The 12000 grit left a glass-like shine on the plastic that I couldn't get with standard sandpaper.

Working through the 2400 up to the 12000 grit on a tiny fuselage seam took me maybe ten minutes, and the finish came out glass-smooth with zero effort. Having both sides usable means I'm not flipping the pad around like a fool every thirty seconds.

Finally, a sanding set that actually finishes my scale models without leaving those awful swirl marks. The double-sided pads are a nice touch, and going from 2400 up to 12000 gives me a mirror shine that I couldn't get with my old stuff.
