Tap Drill #29/8-32

This #29 tap cut perfectly clean threads into a small brass piece without any wobble or binding. The carbon steel held up well against the harder metal, and I didn’t have to worry about cross-threading at all.

Finally, a tap that actually matches the 8-32 thread size perfectly without wobbling. The carbon steel feels durable, and the #29 drill bit hole worked flawlessly on my first try.

The carbon steel held up through four holes in brass without dulling, and the #29/8-32 threading came out clean with zero cross-threading on the last one. It’s a tiny thing, but the sharp entry point made starting the tap much steadier than other bits I’ve wrestled with.
